In order to fight against COVID-19 pandemic situation and provide more learning opportunities to Chinese language learners at abroad, Harbin Engineering University is supported by Center for Language Education and Cooperation to launch online Chinese language training programs.
Eligibility
1．The applicants should be non-Chinese-nationality and stay out of China currently.
2．In good physical and mental condition, and well performed both academically and behaviorally
3．To dedicate to work on Chinese language education, teaching Chinese or the international promotion of Chinese language.
4．The age limit of applicants is between 16-35 years old, and the age for the applicants who are currently working as Chinese language teachers will not exceed to 45 (in accordance with the date of March 1, 2021).

Application Procedure
1. Log in for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Application System: http://cis.chinese.cn/account/login
2. Fill in the form. As for the type of scholarship, please select as “One Semester Student (Online Course)” or “One Academic Year Student (Online Course)”. In addition, please choose your study period accordingly. The host institution should be selected as Harbin Engineering University.
3. Click “Submit” after filling and uploading all required files.
4. Check out application information and stay tuned for progress.
TIPS
The false, incomplete or unqualified application documents will not be accepted. If you are awarded the scholarship but cannot register in HEU accordingly, please submit a written statement to College of International Cooperative Education and explain the reasons 15 days at least before registration. As for those who fail to register without any reasons, their eligibilities of scholarship will be cancelled.
