I. Brief Introduction

Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or consensus between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations.

The Bilateral Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars. Please consult the dispatching authorities of your home country for the categories available. Harbin Engineering University accepts applicants sponsored by this scholarship, including undergraduate students, graduate students, visiting students and visiting scholars.

This scholarship is Type A in the CSC system.

II. How to Apply for the Scholarship

1.Where to Apply

Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country (Chinese Embassies abroad, etc.). Choose Harbin Engineering University as your target university. Please note that Harbin Engineering University does NOT directly accept the application.

2.When to Apply

In general, from January to the beginning of April each year. Please consult the dispatching authorities for the specific deadline of each year.

3. Admission documents will be sent to the applicant by the the dispatching authorities directly.

III. How to Apply for a Pre-admission Notice of HEU for CSC Bilateral Program

1. When to Apply

From December 1 of the current year to February 28 of the following year. (All dates listed are Beijing time and include the day itself.)

2. Eligibility

Meet the admission eligibility requirements for international students at Harbin Engineering University.

3. Procedures

Applicants should choose Type A in the Harbin Engineering University International Student Application System (https://hrbeu.at0086.cn/student), clearly fill in the application information, completely upload the required application materials, and submit the application in accordance with the requirements stated in the HEU International Admission Handbook (CSC Type A applicants are not required to pay the application fee). The application number and application form from HEU online application system should be sent to heufao@hrbeu.edu.cn.

Notes: (1) Undergraduate applicants shall submit official China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) transcripts (Mathematics and Physics results are required for Engineering Programs; Chinese and Mathematics results are required for Arts and Management Programs. Please check www.csca.cn for more details.

(2) Pre-admission Notice of HEU for CSC Bilateral Program is not an official admission notice and is only used as a supplementary material for applying for the Chinese Government Scholarship.
