I．Introduction
Founded in 1953, Harbin Engineering University (HEU) stands as China’s national key universities of "211 Project", setting up Graduate School approved by China’s Ministry of Education, “National Superior Discipline Innovation Platform Project", and listed in the first batch of universities for the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" and "Double First-class" initiatives for universities.
HEU focuses on science and engineering, and maintains a harmonious development across other fields including management and humanities. III. Study Duration
Bachelor’s degree: 4 years
IV. Eligibility
(1) Non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health.
(2) High school graduates or above level, excellent academic performance, aged between 18 and 25 years old; Under the age of 18, you must provide guardian documents in Harbin, China.
(3) The applicants should comply with the regulations (JW [2020] No.12) issued by Ministry of Education OF P.R.China.
(4) Applicants for programs taught in Chinese should submit the certificate of HSK band 4 (inclusive) or above(Undergraduate program of Chinese language should submit HSK Level 3 or above); Applicants for courses taught in English should submit the valid certificates of TOEFL 79, IELTS 5.5 or above; or provide an equivalent language proficiency certificate recognized by the university.

(3) Notarized certificate of high school (in Chinese or English).
(4) Notarized high school transcripts (in Chinese or English).
(5) Proof of language ability.
(6) Personal statement (500 words or more).
(7) Physical Examination Form for Foreigners.
(8) Proof of economic guarantee
(9) Non-criminal record certificate

VI．Scholarship
(1) Chinese Government Scholarship - (Type A, Chinese only)
Scholarships provided in accordance with cooperation and exchange agreements or consensus reached between China and the governments and institutions of relevant countries are mainly applied through the Chinese embassy or consulate general in the applicant's home country. The application submission event is usually from November to February next year, so please be aware of the inquiry in advance.

①From November 1, 2023 to February 28, 2024, please log in http://issp.hrbeu.edu.cn to register, upload the application materials, and inquire about the pre-admission letter.
②Please log in to http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn, register and upload the application materials (type A, please select A scholarship and the first choice to fill in section of “Harbin Engineering University".)
(2)HEU Scholarship for Foreign Students
1. First-class scholarship:Tuition fee waived;
2. Second Class scholarship: 50% tuition feewaived.

(3)International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship(for undergraduate Chinese language majors only)
Scholarship Content:
Free tuition;
Provide free accommodation or provide accommodation subsidies;
Provide living expenses; Undergraduate: 2,500 RMB/month
Comprehensive medical insurance: 800 RMB/person/year
