I．Introduction
Harbin Engineering University (HEU in short), founded in 1953, is located in Harbin, the capital city of Heilongjiang Province, which is known for its cold winters and is heralded as the lce City for its winter tourism and recreation. Harbin Engineering University is the first batch of "211 Project" key universities, “the National Excellent Engineers Plan” key universities, and the national "Double First-class" construction universities. In 2017, it passed Higher General Education Accreditation for Intemational Students in China.
In the field of shipbuilding, ocean and nuclear engineering, HEU has a signifcant advanced technology and technical background including underwater robots, ship anti-rolling, marine power, integrated navigation, underwater acoustic positioning, nuclear power simulation and large ship simulation ranking highly both domestically and abroad, becoming an important personnel training and scientific research base in the fields of "SMON" (Shipbuilding Industry, Marine Equipment, Ocean Exploration and Nuclear Energy Applications) in China.

2. Eligibility
Applicants must be
(1) Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
(2) The age of 18 and 25.
(3) Having attained a senior high school diploma.
(4) With character and academic performance ( Average Grade: 75/100 or more)
(5) Be in good health
(6) With non-criminal record
(7) HSK B and 4 certificate ( Apply for Chinese-taught programs )

Note: Applicants under the age of 18 by September 1, 2024 need to submit
(1) Guardian Guarantee (download). The guardian must be an adult living in Harbin;
(2) A notarized letter of authorization of the guardian entrusted by the applicant's parents.
4. Admission
(1) If you are accepted by HEU, HEU will send you an 'HEU Admission Notice’and 'Visa Application for Study in China’(JW201/202 form).
With both documents, applicants can apply for an X visa (student visa) in the local Chinese Embassy/Consulate.
(2) Please register at HEU in time with Original Physical Examination certificate and 'HEU Admission Notice’, 'Visa Application for Study in China’
5. Registration

6. Tuition Fee
Taught in Chinese: Chinese Language Major: 16000yuan RMB per year
Other Majors: 17000yuan RMB per year
Taught in English: Specific Majors: 22000yuan RMB per year
III. Master Programs

(7) HSK B and 5 certificate (Apply for Chinese-taught programs)
